What the package covers

Many overseas jurisdictions — particularly in the Middle East, Asia and Africa — require documents to go through a full legalisation chain: notarisation by a notary public, followed by an apostille from the FCDO (or, for non-Hague countries, further embassy attestation). We manage this entire process on your behalf, so you deal with one point of contact rather than three separate bodies.

Documents destined for Pakistan and other non-Hague countries

Please note: Pakistan is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so an apostille alone is not sufficient. Documents for use in Pakistan require the full route — notarisation, FCDO stamping and then attestation at the High Commission of Pakistan in London. The same applies to other non-Hague countries such as Malaysia and a number of states in Sub-Saharan Africa and South/Southeast Asia. This Legalisation Package is the correct service for those destinations.

How the chain works

  • Step 1 — Notarisation: our notary partner certifies the document, signature or true copy
  • Step 2 — FCDO: the document is submitted for apostille or FCDO stamping
  • Step 3 — Embassy or high commission: for non-Hague destinations, we arrange consular attestation in London
  • Step 4 — Return: the fully legalised document is returned to you by tracked post or in person

Government, notarial and consular fees vary by destination and are quoted in addition to our service fee. We confirm the full breakdown in writing before starting work.
